Guest Marketing/Vacation Planner

SkyRun Sarasota is a locally-owned business whose Vacation Rental Property Management services are about being the Trusted 5-Star Partner for homeowners and guests in Sarasota and the surrounding beaches.

You’ll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to do the following:

Create, lead and perform guest marketing activities that generate guest reservations and retention.

• Responsible for helping SkyRun achieve the property occupancy goals.
• Responsible for helping SkyRun achieve its property revenue goals.
• Handle the marketing and management of our listings on the OTAs (Online Travel Agencies i.e. VRBO, Airbnb).
• Actively work guest prospect lists via phone, email, social media, events and travel agent leads
• Implement repeat guest initiatives via eblasts, automated push notifications, phone calls and social media.
• Actively “hunt” for guest bookings via social media, Visit Sarasota, local Chambers and other sources.
• Work with prospective guests to find the right SkyRun accommodation.
• Work with the SkyRun team and rate’s analyst to monitor, review, and adjust rates for each property to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Generate additional revenue via upselling our services:

● travel insurance

● extended stays

● additional cleaning services

Coordinate & address all guest reservations before and after their stay.

• Collect, prepare and submit all Guest information forms required by HOA’s.
• Act as a concierge/trip advisor to maximize their enjoyment.
• Welcome guests upon arrival to ensure they are comfortable.
• Communicate how they can reach out for help if needed during their stay.
• Create, implement and manage marketing initiatives aimed at guests traveling to Sarasota and the surrounding Keys.
• Responsible for reputation management: 5-Star review solicitation, responding to all guest reviews.

Contribute to smooth local operations.

• Maintain SkyRun Systems to ensure all guest communications are up to date and accurate including creating new communications where needed.
• Help SkyRun’s business development efforts by participating in onboarding of new properties: Property listing creation in SkyRun propertymanagement system. Stage property, schedule and manage photoshoots.
• Create, print and distribute Guest Welcome Book in properties. Update when needed.

Manage property listings for SkyRun’s website and 3rd party booking channels to maximize property visibility.

• Become an OTA expert and follow best practices with listing titles, photos, and reviews.
• Create a process for updating the listings and expedite.

You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things:

• Quick to adapt and comfortable learning numerous technologies including Google Suite, mobile applications and other software platforms.
• Be the first to answer phones, emails and text messages, and when necessary assign to the appropriate team member.
• Be an expert of the Sarasota vacation rental & hospitality industry.
• Follow the SkyRun marketing and reservation’s processes and recommend process improvements or create new processes where needed.
• Have strong communication skills and comfortable contacting guests by phone, email, video & in-person meetings.We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone on our team helps with our success.

In this role, you’ll be accountable for:

• Helping SkyRun Sarasota achieve its property revenue and occupancy goals.
• Achieving 5-Star reviews from guests.
• Working in-sync with Business Development and Operations toonboard each property in a timely manner.
• Creating marketing initiatives to support business growth.
• Maintaining a flexible schedule with some weekend and on-call duties required.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
