Position Summary:This position is customer-facing and serves as the first friendly interaction visitors and campus partners experience when coming to our office. This position provides a variety of administrative functions, assists with facilities management, and provides front desk reception to the University Development Office. This position requires a highly professional, enthusiastic, and team-oriented individual.
Administrative Support/front desk reception:
- Prepare and coordinate meeting space usage.
- Support general administrative tasks as required.
- Assist with scheduling meetings.
- Assist with logistical planning.
- Assist with AV setup, troubleshooting, and operation for events or meetings.
- Provide basic technical support to staff and guests.
- Greets visitors and employee
Facility Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of our facility, ensuring a well-maintained environment.
- Oversee inventory management for facility supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and renovations of facilities
- Supervision on building move
- Coordinate inventory tracking
- Process surplus requests
- Help coordinate office moves, including helping pack offices, files, and move boxes.
- Handle small cleaning needs and coordinate larger cleaning needs with campus facilities or external vendors.
- Provide assistance on moving equipment.
2 yrs experience in a higher education setting plus HS diploma or equivalent.
Requirements:
- Strong coordination and logistic planning skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
