- Design and refine user interface elements by developing visually appealing screens and elements for the digital user interface, ensuring a seamless and intuitive User Experience
- Create and maintain a comprehensive style guide to ensure design consistency, along with version control and necessary documentation
- Plan and conduct user research and testing, such as user interviews, focus groups, working sessions, card sorting, surveys and other relevant methods
- Manage usability testing sessions to gather direct feedback on design iterations and refine user interfaces accordingly
- Utilize research data to identify user preferences, pain points, and needs, informing design decisions and improvements
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to define and document business processes
- Develop site maps, user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate the visual and interactive aspects of the user interface to agile team
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of IT digital design experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- At least 5 years’ experience using industry standard software tools including Adobe XD, Figma, Miro or MuralKnowledge of fundamental visual design principles, interaction design principles, information architecture and responsive design
- Proven ability to design for inclusivity and accessibility
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders for business process design and documentation
- Experience conducting and interpreting market research
- Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models
- Knowledge of agile and waterfall project management and implementation theory and methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to build effective and strategic relationships at all levels of an organization
- Excellent problem solving skills, and highly adaptable in a constantly changing customer focused and technical environment
- Self-motivated, able to learn quickly and research issues independently and with limited direction
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills, utilizing proper grammar, syntax and excellent business acumen
- Strong organizational and time management skills with proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a high paced environment with limited direction
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, MS Teams and O365 applications
- Possession of valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Experience working with Section 125, Section 105, COBRA or health insurance products
- Ability and willingness for occasional overnight travel to an outside client, meeting or conference up to two weeks’ total throughout the year
