Candidates should have experience guiding students through content, research, and analysis, emphasizing critical thinking, and be able to teach and conduct discussions in a student-centered way. As important, we seek a candidate with a demonstrated passion for exploring how the social sciences intersect—and a track record leveraging this passion into effective practices which encourage students to think creatively, engage with ideas deeply, and lead with intellectual curiosity.
Requirements
Candidates should be eager to join a professional community where collaboration is valued and where openness to growth is the norm. Upper School faculty share in the day-to-day life of the school community, including serving as advisors and Interim leaders. Excellent interpersonal skills are required, as is demonstrated intercultural competence, which is the ability to understand and bridge diverse perspectives, identities, and lived experiences.

The pay range for the position is $55,000-$75,000. Colorado Academy reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Any discrepancies that may exist do not relate to sex.
