JOB TITLE: PT/FT Nursing Supervisor- required LPN/RN license
Summary: We are looking for a reliable LPN(Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) to assist in care for our Residents and oversee our facility in a professional and considerate manner. You will work under the supervision of our Administrator. The LPN/RN must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. You must be experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for Staff Performance, Education, Discipline, and Development.
- Assure that residents are treated with kindness and respect.
- Protect residents from accidents and injuries.
- Serve as ‘go-to’ resource person for Nursing Team Members while directly overseeing Nursing Staff- CNAs, Med-Techs and Caregivers.
- Review and process physician orders utilizing eMAR in conjunction with pharmacy support .
- Conduct monthly audits of clinical records, medications, medical equipment, and emergency policies to ensure accuracy, as well as meeting safety standards. Report findings to Administrator.
- Verify resident ADL schedules are developed and executed.
- Deliver resident care when necessary.
- Ensure and monitor resident call signal response times, as well as door and safety alarms are tended to promptly.
- Follow and comply with infection control, safety, emergency and confidentiality policies and procedures.
- Ability to inspire and motivate staff through consistent leadership, supervision and coaching.
- Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors.
- Oversee final Schedule and assist with Staffing when needed.
- Required upkeep and regular updating on Compliance, Regulatory State Requirements and State Regulations for PC.
- Fosters a resident-centered approach to the planning and delivery of services to residents, supporting residents’ rights to participate in decision-making and treating them with dignity and respect.
- Ensures that residents’ care needs are met by coordinating with other community professionals, including physicians, discharge planners, social workers, and regulatory agency personnel. Arranges ancillary services, such as pharmacy, podiatry, lab, and x-ray as needed.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and issue employee discipline for care staff as needed.
- Complete resident evaluations prior to admission and oversee updates after move-in
- Ensure resident medical history and documentation is completed prior to admission, including communicating with the resident, family members and medical providers
- Coordinate resident care conferences to ensure outcomes are achieved, including state paperwork compliance, proper fee schedule, and communication with responsible party.
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as LPN or RN
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with Personal Care Facilities, safety and sanitation standards and operation procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
- Perfect physical condition and stamina
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Regular updating of Staff Education and Trainings needed within the facility
Education and Experience
- Successful completion of LPN/RN license program is REQUIRED
- Graduate of approved LPN/RN Nursing School (Must provide License
- Minimum of 3 Years’ Experience as LPN/RN
- Valid and Current LPN/RN License Issued through the State of Pennsylvania
- CPR/First Aid Certification
