The successful candidate will have a proven track record of preparing estate tax returns, managing taxable estates, and providing exceptional paralegal services. Responsibilities:
As a Trust and Estate Paralegal, you will be expected to:
1. Prepare and file estate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
2. Manage taxable estates, including the coordination of asset valuations, calculation of tax liabilities, and filing of necessary documents.
3. Assist attorneys in the preparation and execution of wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
4. Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as probate petitions and orders.
5. Liaise with clients, providing them with updates and addressing their queries in a professional and timely manner
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Trust and Estate Law.
2. At least 10 years of experience as a Paralegal.
3. Proven experience in preparing and filing estate tax returns and managing taxable estates.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of Trust and Estate law, probate procedures, and tax regulations.
5. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
