Currently seeking a Treatment Coordinator to join our extraordinary team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals. The Treatment Coordinator's primary responsibility is to contribute to the financial success of the practice by ensuring that patients are the number one priority, maintaining positive relationships, and knowing and understanding the business aspects necessary to provide patients with the best experience possible. Treatment Coordinator duties include phone reception, scheduling/confirming appointments, direct communication with patients which includes updating record and assisting with front office duties.

Treatment Coordinators Spend their typical day:
· Answering phones “with a smile” within the first 3 rings; communicating with patients in a courteous manner and using recommended verbiage for maintained control of the schedule
· Coordinating patient scheduling and ensuring any same-day treatments are added to the schedule; notifying providers of changes
· Scheduling appointments in accordance with guidelines; following and tracking appointments due to no-shows, cancellations and late arrivals
· Calling scheduled patients to confirm appointments
· Making every effort to offer a new patient appointment on the same day as the call, or schedule a patient into an appointment within 3 days by using proper scheduling procedures
· Entering diagnosed treatment plans accurately to the practice software
· Presenting financial arrangements to patients, adhering to practice protocol
· Ensuring all applicable checklists are completed and charts are maintained and filed daily
· Entering all patient information into the computer software system accurately, ensuring that we have the most updated information on file for each patient
· Recording all charges and payments to patient accounts; be able to complete and explain third party financing options to patients
· Understanding and follow doctor’s treatment plans to schedule follow-up appointments
· Assisting patients in completing new patient health history forms
What makes Treatment Coordinator Candidates stand out?
· At least one year of dental front office experience
· Someone whose focus is building patient relationships and providing excellent care to the community
· Someone who is flexible and is able to efficiently multi-task
· Working knowledge of Eaglesoft practice management software is a plus
· Experience in a professional scheduling role with answering/making outbound numerous calls daily
· Excellent verbal communication skills and phone etiquette
· Strong understanding of patient privacy, confidentiality and HIPPA
· Proficient in the use of office equipment (multi-line phone/scanner/copier/fax)
· Professionalism and professional image
· Strong organization and planning skills; detail oriented.
· Conflict resolution and problem-solving skill
