Position: Patient Care & Treatment Coordinator (PCTC)
You will be at the forefront of our patient experience, responsible for creating a positive first impression and ensuring the smooth functioning of our front desk operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with warmly greeting patients and visitors, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
- Managing incoming phone calls and scheduling appointments efficiently.
- Processing paperwork, insurance verifications, and other administrative tasks.
- Answers questions and explains treatment to new patients to gain enrollment.
- Maintains appropriate financial documentation which includes signed financial agreements.
- Coordinates & processes patient financial arrangements.
- Schedules initial treatment appointments for new patients with proper financial documentation. Help to prepare and send all post-consult letters to patients and referrals.
Other Duties:
- Creates strategies for gaining enrollment on all patients who have declined to begin treatment.
- Tracks and reports on the status of new patient enrollment concerning practice goals.
- Coordinating with the clinical team to maintain a streamlined patient flow.
- Coordinating with referring dentists to ensure their patients are scheduled appropriately and efficiently.
- Handling inquiries with professionalism and providing accurate information about our services.
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects our commitment to excellence.
- Collaborating with the billing department to facilitate smooth financial transactions.
- Handling confidential patient information with the utmost discretion and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental setting is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and appointments efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) and experience with dental software/DSN is a plus.
- A compassionate and empathetic nature to provide comfort and support to patients during their visit.
