What You'll Do
As the Transportation Supervisor / Dispatcher, you will supervise and manage Dyno Nobel Transportation Inc.(DNTI) terminal, maintenance shop, and activities of drivers. You will be responsible for dispatching drivers to various customer and internal sites as required to deliver products to our customers. Responsible for trip scheduling and driver communication regarding the schedule and routes of DNTI drivers. Other duties include:

• Operates Tractor and Trailer(s) equipment, assists with customer deliveries, loading and unloading.
• Responsible for trip scheduling and driver communication regarding the schedule and routes of DNTI drivers.
• Dispatch drivers to various customer and internal sites as required to deliver products to our customers
• Maintain Zero Harm for everyone.
• Operate terminal within budgetary requirements.
• Operate and manage DNTI Cheyenne terminal.
• Scheduling drivers to make deliveries.
• Communicating with customers about product details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests
• Planning pre-determined routes and accommodating route changes as needed
• Preparing dispatch documents as well as generating invoices and bills
• Maintaining records of dispatched calls, deliver routes, route changes, as well as delivery times
• Keeping track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers comply.
• Reviewing driver logs including dispatched calls and arrival times
• Must be on call 24 hours a day to respond and make decisions in emergency situations.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or applicable field preferred.
• 5 years' experience in trucking / logistics industry
• 5 years' supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Hazardous Materials, DOT, MSHA, and OSHA regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL- Valid Medical Card with Doubles/Triples, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
