- Be dependable. Show up on time and leave on time for your scheduled shift unless approved by supervisor.
- Be respectful, courteous and maintain professional boundaries.
- Follow and maintain all COR policy and procedure.

- Maintain training requirements as defined by Cornerstone Policy, the Joint Commission and TN State Licensure.
- Maintain a drive(s license with an F endorsement.
- Maintain patient safety at all times.
- Consult with Program Director and reception regarding daily transportation schedule.
- Plan route to ensure timely and effective drop off and pickups of patients and adhere to safe driving routes in COR policy.
- Drive the van in a safe manner following COR's transportation policy at all times. Adhere to the speed limit of 60 miles per hour or less in the vans.
- Ensure vehicle is locked when not in use by a COR approved driver. Ensure that the vehicle will not be left idling for an extended period of time (only idling should be to warm up vehicle in cold weather) and never when unoccupied.
- Obey all traffic laws. Any violation of Cornerstone, Federal, or State laws regarding use to vehicles will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
- Report all traffic stops to supervisor as soon as possible.
- Inspect vehicle daily for safe operation and report any issues immediately to supervisor.
- Responsible for cleanliness of van inside and out at all times. Adhere to no food or drinks in the vehicles for staff and patients.
- Before end of scheduled shift ensure the vehicle has a minimum of half a tank of fuel. If it does not meet the minimum fuel requirement then obtain fuel by COR procedure.
- Report all vehicle maintenance problems to supervisor immediately.
- Report patient behavioral issues to counseling staff.
- All other duties assigned as permitted by training, experience, working conditions and physical demands.
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to operate multi-passenger vehicles. Knowledge of the 12 Step Recovery Program preferred.
