Warehouse Wheels Specialist

Job Summary

The Warehouse Wheels Specialist will assist in the loading and unloading of trailers; will utilize the operating system to record the movement of product in/out of the warehouse and receive cross-training in all functional areas. The individual must be able to take direction well and multi-task effectively to perform various tasks as assigned by management.

Essential Functions

• Accurately pick and ship inventory for order fulfillment
• Accurately perform cycle counts and physical counts
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks
• Assist in warehouse cleaning and maintenance
• Perform additional duties as required by management
• Unload incoming inventory and prepare it for storage
• Complete all tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Job Specifications:

• Valid Driver's License
• Highschool Diploma
• 5+ Years of warehouse experience
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, & inventory management

• Warehouse Operations
• Shipping/Receiving processes

• Detail-oriented, multi-tasking, self-directed, with ability to prioritize tasks

• Desire to increase knowledge and grow with the organization
• Consistently seeking to improve efficiency and quality of warehouse operations
• Excellent organizational skills required

Abilities:

• Ability to work in a fast paced, working environment for distribution
• Use, carry, set up and climb ladders
• Operate picker, forklift, hand truck, and RF scanner to move stock
• Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds
• Employees will be responsible for reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing materials, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
