Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, quality, and reliability
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and delivery terms
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess stock
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions
