As a Training Coordinator at MauserPackaging Solutions, you will manage, design, develop, and coordinate all technical training programs for production operations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Joint Training Committee(s) and Human Resources to develop technical training courses for various levels (beginners, intermediate and advanced).
- Manage all aspects of apprenticeship programs to ensure program requirements met
- Collaborate with managers and frontline leadership to identify training needs and create development plans to improve operations and optimize production.
- Gather feedback from trainees and instructors and recommend suggestions for the learning process.
- Drive trainee engagement with learning sessions.
- Conduct individual and team skills gap analysis. Observe and conduct training audits to identify training gaps, conduct on-the-job training to correct deficiencies and retest; make necessary changes to documentation or processes.
- Document and measure improvements in employees’ job performance.
- Ensure all employees develop their technical skills and knowledge and are able to perform their daily tasks and solve problems.
- Ensure all new hires undergo basic technical training.
- Present new features and stimulating activities in a demo environment.
- Design and prepare educational aids and materials.
- Maintain updated curriculum database and training records.
- Amend and revise programs as necessary, to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance and adherence to quality standards.
- Support plant onboarding activities.
Requirements
- Previous work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Facilitator, or similar. 3-5 years preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Training, Communication, or a similar field preferred.
- Technical Aptitude Preferred
- Mechanical Engineering Preferred
- Metals, Can Making Experience a plus
- Able to assess talent and aptitudes of team members and determine gaps that need to be filled (Skills Assessments, Skills Matrix, Succession Planning, Training Gaps, and Training Plans for each team member)
- Manufacturing/operations experience required. A minimum of 3-5 years of training experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety practices and principles
- Great people skills with team members at all levels of the organization from shop floor to C-suite.
- Must be a team player and team builder
- Must be a leader who can lead with influence without positional authority.
- Continuous Improvement/Lean/5S/Six Sigma background a bonus
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel when necessary (0-20%)
- Flexibility to work all shifts when necessary.
