Position Overview:
US Cargo is seeking a dedicated and proactive After HoursOperations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our logistics operations outside regular business hours. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage all after-hours operations, including tracking, booking, and overlooking shipments.
- Coordinate with drivers, customers, and partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight.
- Handle any issues that arise during the shift promptly and professionally.
- Communicate effectively with daytime operations to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, incidents, and communications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations at all times.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including but not customer service, and documentation.
- Utilize logistics software to update shipment statuses and generate reports for management.
- Provide updates to customers regarding shipment status and estimated delivery times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Previous experience in logistics required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism.

Pay: $20.50 - $24.69 per hour
Expected hours: 33 – 45 per week
