Position Summary
The primary responsibilities of the Training and Quality Assurance “QA” Coordinator will be to organize and oversee Training and QA programs and initiatives. You will coordinate new hire orientations, new hire onboarding training programs, department -specific training, coaching sessions, and calibration sessions.
In addition, this role will develop, implement, and maintain training standards and materials. This role will closely monitor trainee progress and suggest necessary adjustments to training plans.
Job Description/Essential Functions
• Facilitates and coordinates training such as, new hire orientation and onboarding, departmental overview training, and role specific training to new and existing employees.
• Creates agendas, hand-outs, and evaluations for participants; follows up with participants for appropriate closure.
• Serves as a resource in development, research, and collection of new or updated training ideas, methods, and resources.
• Meets regularly with each department to establish continued training development needs and expectations.
• Administers and maintains training programs for new and existing employees by collaborating with the subject matter experts from each department to build out the necessary training material.
• Schedules training programs and sessions.
• Monitors to results of the training programs. Research, record, evaluate and problem solve on training results to improve the programs.
• Participates in the review, development, maintenance and implementation of training standards and materials, including creating and updating of new hire sessions and materials, training manuals, performance dashboards, benchmarks, and standard evaluation guidelines.
• Works with 3rd party vendors to support training initiatives and programs.
• Evaluates industry trends and best practices for training programs to include adult education and learning.
• Works with the Compliance team to ensure that the training program is following Florida Statute guidelines.
• Coordinates with Quality Assurance Manger to ensure quality processes are incorporated into training.
• Participates in monthly Quality Assurance calibration sessions and discussions/decisions with Quality Assurance Manager to reduce inconsistencies and align coaching practices between QA and Training.
• Serves as general technical point of contact to the business unit; reviews quality trends and operational consistency; recommend solutions for performance improvement.
