- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Cleans guest rooms including, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping.
- Cleans and sanitizes guest bathrooms; removes trash, leave the bathroom sparkling.
- Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Keeps the supply cart and immediate work areas neat and always organized.
- Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day, before your shift ends each day.
- Checks all equipment prior to and after its use to ensure that it is in good working order
- Hand in any articles (lost and found) to a supervisor.
- Inspects room items such as alarms, light bulbs, TV, remote control, hairdryer, toilet, and sinks to ensure they are properly working
- Notifies Housekeeping supervisor of any maintenance issues in guest rooms
- Notifies Housekeeping Supervisor when cleaning is complete so rooms may be inspected
- Notifies housekeeping Supervisor of any discrepancies in room status
- Notifies supervisors of all problems or unusual matters in guest rooms immediately
- Reports and/or logs all lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.'
