Seeking a highly motivated Training and Event Specialist

We are an authorized Boar’s Head Brand Distributor in the Norther Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area seeking a reliable and energetic Training and Event Specialist.
A Training and Event Specialist has a passion for food and a willingness to become a subject matter expert on the Boar’s Head Brand products. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated resource to building and maintaining positive recognition of the Boar's Head Brand. This person must be prepared to assist in brand Training and development at multiple retail locations, involving retail associates and customers. They would also assist in merchandising, brand tasting events, and culinary demonstrations at multiple retail locations in the greater Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky area.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for conducting training sessions in a class room setting and on the job.
Support and develop relationships with key retail partners and associates.
Identify and asses training needs at each retail location.
Develop and oversee the production of training materials, tools, and programs.
Maintain Training and development logs and reports that will be submitted to supervisors and retail partners.
Candidates must be comfortable with "hands on" food preparation and product handling in a kitchen/delicatessen environment.
Execute recipe development and food table displays (culinary and food preparation experience preferred).
Perform and support brand Events. To include: slicing product, preparing and demonstrating culinary recipes, cooking, assisting with events, etc.
Must be comfortable engaging and intercepting consumers and associates.
Support sales team by merchandising and filling product on sales floor and cases.
Requirements
*High School Diploma or Equivalent
*Full Time
*Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
*Travel required *mileage reimbursed
*Must have smart phone or computer to complete work related tasks
*Proficient in MS Office applications
*Training experience preferred
*Must have experience working in the food service industry or retail food environment
*Culinary experience preferred but not required
*Ability to operate deli slicer (training provided)
*Must be able to lift 25 lbs
*Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time (up to six hours per shift)
*Must be able to transport and set up 4-foot folding table, along with platters, utensils and marketing materials (all provided)

Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 /hour based on experience

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
