JOB DESCRIPTION
Ability to work in a fast-paced endoscopy department assisting with GI/Pulmonary procedures and recovery of patients. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and prioritize effectively is essential for success. Experience in the following areas is preferred: Endoscopy procedures, ACLS certification, IV insertion skills, and administration of moderate sedation. Critical care/ emergency center experience is preferred.
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.
Work Schedule:
Varying shifts/start times with rotating call
Required Qualifications:
- BSN/BAN from a school of nursing required.
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
