Summary:
The Trade Analyst will facilitate a variety of data and business projects, serving as the primary liaison between our Trade and Enterprise Data Services teams. This individual will have a unique combination of technical, financial, pharmacy and data manipulation skills to help us build and maintain innovative reports that drive meaningful insights. They will help to develop dashboards, drive operational excellence by leveraging and implementing technology, establish metrics, and evaluate goals.

Trade Analyst Analyst Major Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with account executives, strategic account managers and program managers to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by information systems and technology.
- Leverage existing data warehouse to develop insightful reports, analysis, and dashboards using a combination of Excel, SQL, PowerBI and other analytics tools.
- Responds to inquiries and provides advice to leadership regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs.
- Creates and distributes recurring reporting surrounding developed metrics and KPIs for our internal trade team and external manufacturers and insurance providers.
- Maintains and ensures proper documentation and coordinates or performs testing of system modifications.
- Has a vision, creative mindset, and business acumen to generate new metrics and reports that assist in driving key decisions.
- Researches and analyzes company datasets to drive enterprise-wide understanding and optimization.
- Satisfies data sampling, project analysis, testing verification, and other user requests from existing client databases.
- Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
Trade AnalystPosition Qualifications:
Education/Learning Experience
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or other related field.
- Desired: MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- Work Experience
- Required: 3+ years of experience in Reporting, Analytical, Business Intelligence, IT, or similar data analytics role.
- 3+ years working with relational databases, SQL, Excel, PowerBI, and ETL processes.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertainty.
- Desired: Hospital, Pharmacy, Insurance, or oncology experience preferred
- Skills/Knowledge
- Required: Established proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database utilization (SQL/Access). Strong analytical skills and the ability to mine large amounts of data required.
- Established proficiency in database management software (Microsoft SSMS).
- Ability to author codes using SQL, DAX, VBA is desired.
