Job Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a compassionate and ambitious OR Support Technician to provide support to the OR suites including PACU. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. · You will provide room set up, stock supplies, assist with patient positioning, clean scopes and assemble supplies or equipment for each procedure, transport patients, lab specimens, equipment and any other activity to increase productivity in the OR

· You will trouble shoot equipment and any other activity to increase productivity in the department.

· You will consider age-related factors in care of patients ranging from infants to geriatrics and applies the knowledge appropriately in accordance with standards and departmental policies and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

· One year experience in an OR Support role preferred.

* Ability to maintain a mature, professional manner and demonstrate sound judgement when dealing with physicians, clinical staff, patients and families, plus all other hospital personnel.

* Computer experience preferred.

* Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
