We are seeking an experienced Supply ChainRisk and Trade Compliance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth due diligence on suppliers, vendors, and companies, while ensuring compliance with trade regulations and mitigating Supply Chain Risks. This will involve extensive research in the public domain.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive due diligence on suppliers, vendors, and companies, including but not limited to corporate structures, ownership, operations, and Supply Chain networks, utilizing public domain sources.
- Conduct extensive research and analysis in the public domain on Trade Compliance regulations, such as the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA), forced labor laws, and other relevant regulations.
- Assess and identify potential risks within the Supply Chain, including human rights violations, forced labor, environmental concerns, and other ethical and legal issues, using publicly available information.
- Help clients develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers, based on public domain research.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Trade Compliance regulations, industry trends, and best practices in Supply Chain Risk management, utilizing public domain sources.
- Provide subject matter expertise on various commodities, classification systems, manufacturing processes, and Supply Chain sectors, based on public domain research.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in Supply Chain due diligence, risk assessment, Trade Compliance, or related areas, with a focus on public domain research.
- Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information from multiple public sources.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with trade regulations, including UFLPA, forced labor laws, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain operations, manufacturing processes, and commodity classification systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant foreign languages is a plus
