NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a "Tosca Automation Engineer" to join our team in "Houston, TX, USA".

The candidate for the above-captioned position should exhibit the following requirements:-
Automation Engineer
Automation Engineers know how to implement and work with Tosca, they have successfully passed the Automation Specialist training program, and are intended to create and provide customer specific integrations and extension of Tricentis Tosca.
The Automation Engineer is responsible for setting up the test automation (Tosca Installation and Rollout, Integrations and Customer specific extensions) and ongoing support from a technical perspective.
This role focuses on technical tasks in the field of GUI and non-GUI (interfaces) test automation. The tasks handled by the Automation Engineer require a high level of programming skill. The Automation Engineer does not have a permanent role in a project team. This role is rather deployed on selective task specific assignments in the test project environment.
The tasks of an Automation Engineer are 90% development related.
The role Automation Engineer is trained on two levels:
- Level 1: Able to perform and implement successful Test Automation pilots with Tosca and using the out-of-the-box functionalities of Tosca to identify and steer controls. Using Image Based Test Automation and other solutions to steer controls that could not be uniquely identified or where a business representation is missing (e. g. HTML tables who are represented as single links and not as a table).
- Level 2: Implement a sustainable technical control steering which also includes the business representation of controls within Tosca (Table is a table and not a collection of single links).
Tasks of the Automation Engineer:
- Development of new custom controls (GUI and non-GUI)
- Customization and extensions of customer specific controls (programming tasks)
- Implementing integrations, continuous testing/integrations
- Tosca Rollout/Installation
- Conveying the Tricentis best practices through selective coaching in developing and handling custom controls
Project artefacts:
- Customer specific extensions and integration of Tosca (custom controls, special execution tasks, etc.)
- Special Execution Tasks (e.g. for recovery purposes)
- Implementation documentation
Skill profile
- S./M.S. in CS or engineering; or equivalent (Java or C# a plus)
- 5+ years professional experience as a software engineer
- Additional experience as a technical consultant a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in technical solution architecture
- Test automation using various tools is a plus
- Tosca experience
- Good object oriented programming skills
- Likes to be challenged and stays calm under pressure
- Communicative, excellent presentation skills, consulting attitude
