Tig Welder/Fabricator

RHD Enterprises, Inc. is a Minority Woman-Owned metal fabricator and general contractor headquartered in Tumwater, WA specializing in commercial, government and industrial construction. We are seeking a highly capable and experienced TIG Fabricator to join our growing team.

Primary Duties:

• Problem solving/identify issues is needed.

Skills and Requirements

• Demonstrated experience of construction and fabrication processes, including strong TIG welding on variety of commercial/industrial projects and knowledge of TIG standards.
• Proficient in reading drawings, specifications and 3d models.
• Demonstrated experience with handrail, guardrail, stairs, beams, and columns layout accurately without supervision. Competent with Stainless and Aluminum grades, filler materials
• Ability to weld Dual-Shield and Hardwire MIG
• Able to fabricate jigs for production welding.
• Able to fit up large runs of handrail/guardrail accurately and efficiently.
• Leads and adopts RHD safety, quality and culture competency initiatives.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with general construction and 5 years as a fabricator
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrate leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, problem solve, and motivate others while maintaining effective relationships with customers.
• Demonstrate solid presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills.
• Expert at reading and interpreting blueprints, and specifications; structural and architectural documents.
• Must be eligible for DOD background checks and military base access, able to pass pre-employment drug screening, valid WA state driver’s license with clean driving record, and reliable transportation to and from job sites as well as willingness to travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
