Sign Shop Fabricator

Stripe Rite Inc, The state's leading Pavement Marking company is looking for a fabricator for it Yakima, Washington Sign Shop.

If you like to stay busy and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, Stripe Rite Sign shop is looking to add a hard working, detail-oriented, sign fabricator to our growing team of sign professionals. We are seeking person with at least one year previous work experience in the Sign Shop business. Position is full-time with benefits, PTO, and holidays. Applicant must have experience in general signage fabrication. Familiar with vinyl cutting and signage software such as FlexiPrint is a plus.

Schedule is 8 hour shift, Monday - Friday

As a Stripe Rite sign fabricator, you’ll:

• Receive work orders and verbal requests to create and fabricate a variety of signs, including but not limited to directional signs, banners, facility signs, agricultural signs, street signs, and traffic signs;
• Trim, sort, assemble, and distribute printed signed by cutting, weeding, taping, and preparing a variety of substrates, such as various thicknesses of aluminum, magnets, and occasional corrugated plastics;
• Apply vinyl graphics to a variety of substrates;
• Operate a company vehicle in performance of job duties which requires a current drivers license and acceptable driving record.

Needed or preferred

• High school or equivalent
• Sign or traffic sign experience
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to use and operate complex equipment with proper safety and equipment knowledge
• Experience with power tools
• Ability to work both independently and in groups
• Willing to work overtime and/or Saturdays if needed
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company and OSHA standards
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
• Perform all preventative maintenance duties to equipment.
• Continually monitor equipment and make necessary adjustment(s) to ensure proper operation.
• Must take pride in work, have a good eye for detail, and possess a positive, get it done attitude.
• Have a strong work ethic and able to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately in a deadline environment.
• Able to read and understand detailed shop drawings and work orders.
• Able to stand for long periods and heavy lift up to 50 lbs.
• Maintains a clean facility

Loads and unloads orders and traffic control devices for customers”

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
