Architectural Metal Fabricator

Job Summary:

Unique Elevator Interiors is hiring for the role of an experienced and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator with the proven ability to complete projects from shop drawings to finished products. We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, commitment to craftsmanship and quality, and a willingness to learn and be flexible on ever-changing custom projects. Must have high standards for communication, safety, site cleanliness, professionalism, punctuality, and a passion for your craft.

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

· Build parts from drawings, including designing flat patterns to make formed parts

· Safely and proficiently use the following equipment to manufacture sheet metal parts

o Mechanical Shear

o Press Brake

o TIG/MIG Welders - Steel, Stainless, Bronze, Aluminum

o Drill Press

o Mechanical and Pneumatic Punch and Die

o Plasma Cutting Torch

· Measure, form and apply custom cladding

· Safely operate forklift

· Other duties or tasks as assigned

Requirements:

· 3+ years of experience working with sheet metal

· Metal finishing/staining experience is a huge plus

· Complete background check and drug screen

· Excellent organization and time management skills

· Positive and professional attitude

· Customer service orientation

· Stand for long periods of time

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Lifting and carrying items 70+ lbs. occasionally

Shift:

· Full-time position

· Typically, Monday – Friday: 6AM – 2:30PM but may vary

Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
