We are seeking a versatile welder with a background in a variety of welding techniques and procedures. Our fabrication division is a small team of highly skilled individuals who pride themselves on quality. We are seeking someone who can work well with others, who is willing to learn and can bring their experience to enhance the team. We are one of the largest job shops in the Pacific Northwest working on a wide range of projects requiring our employees to come up with creative solutions to get the job done daily.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 p/h

As a Certified Welder you will:

• Apply TIG and MIG welding skills in a variety of materials (aluminum, stainless steel, titanium)
• Follow written and / or verbal instructions to create fabricated parts and fixtures.
• Read and understand assembly drawings and blueprints.
• Set up and operate metal cutting equipment to cut parts to length (saw, plasma, oxy/fuel)
• Be comfortable fitting up weldments within 1/32".
• Have strong hand and shop tool skills - knowledge and use of grinders, sanders and drills, lathe and Bridgeport.

The Qualified Candidates will have:

• Knowledge of metal alloys and welding processes
• Experience in rigging and lifting practices and devices.
• Press brake experience.
• TIG and MIG welding skills in a variety of materials (aluminum, stainless steel, titanium)
• Knowledge of the set up and operation of a small milling machine.
• Experience with AWS, ASME or other welding specifications.
• The ability to lead by example with regards to quality and workmanship.
