Job Description
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Lead Engineer in providing technical leadership for day-to-day operations of the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) Range Modernization effort
- Assist in planning, directing and coordinating contractor engineering efforts
- Assist in establishing the program testing schedule and paradigm to meet DevSecOps tenets
- Develop test and demonstration plans and summary reports
- Design, develop, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met
- Design and implement automated integration and functional testing and deployment processes and tools to support CI/CD
- Provide oversight of technical performance and testing costs and schedules
- Support design reviews
- Maintain knowledge of current and developing test automation technologies and tools
- Advise management and customers on test operations
Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Twelve (12) years' of related, proven experience performing similar duties
- Extensive experience planning and executing complex software system test cases and procedures
- Experience with test scenario and script development and requirements management
- Ability and experience effectively communicating technical and programmatic issues
- Experience with project logistics and working with controlled engineering baselines
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to express technical ideas to senior decision makers
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in technical field
- 20 or more years of related, proven experience performing similar duties
- Experience configuring software and system test automation tools and processes
- Experience leading I&T teams and efforts, making technical presentations, writing formal reports
- Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and tools
- Working knowledge of cyber testing or training.
