The Intermodal Terminal Manager Position works in the BPX Logistics Jacksonville Terminal. This role is responsible for tracking and confirming all client shipments and providing problem resolution for any client’s need. The key responsibilities of this role are to provide clear and concise communication, troubleshoot client concerns, and monitor the movement of freight to ensure client satisfaction proactively. Organization and the ability to problem solve is essential to this position. This position will be required to complete the following:
- Consistently and effectively monitor tendered freight through internal tracking, as well as external port/rail websites to ensure equipment is moved in a timely manner to avoid potential demmurage and per-diem charges.
- Trace equipment and update dispatch board with availability and/or last free day information using port websites/portals for all three local terminals.
- Continually monitor driver progress and process dispatches using the PCS Express On Line operating system. Work closely with Load Planning/CSRs regarding status updates, driver availability and/or delays.
- Update Director of Operations regarding any issues impacting service and/or driver availability in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and maintain reliable attendance. Encourage and support a positive and professional work atmosphere.
- Must be detail oriented and organized with an ability to meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
- Provide cross-training and instruction to new team members as needed.

The ideal candidate would possess the following skills:
- TWIC (MUST HAVE)
- 5 Years of Dispatch Experience
- Experience with Intermodal portals
- Intermediate understanding of Intermodal business
- Intermediate understanding of Supporting documentation of Intermodal business
- EIR Tickets
- Chassis Pool use
- BOL
- Container Seal
- Ability to Prioritize daily tasks
- Ability to Multitask
- Ability to Work through tight deadlines
