Overview:
As a Telephone Communications Specialist for our automotive repair shops, you will play a crucial role in managing all Telephone Communications company-wide. Your responsibilities will include receiving and directing calls, taking messages, making appointments, and following up with appointment leads. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or location.
Take detailed messages and ensure they are relayed to the intended recipient in a timely manner.
Schedule appointments for customers based on their needs and the availability of service technicians.
Follow up with appointment leads to confirm scheduled appointments and address any additional questions or concerns.
Manage Telephone Communications for multiple locations, ensuring seamless coordination between sites.
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, providing excellent customer service over the phone.
Keep accurate records of calls, messages, and appointments using our internal systems.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service or Telephone Communications role is preferred.
Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional phone manner.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in using computers and telephone systems.
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different locations.
Knowledge of automotive terminology and repair services is a plus but not required.
