Job Overview:
The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for building and delivering both global and local compensation programs that enhance the employee experience, through support and management of both global and country programs in line with the global total rewards philosophy.
This role is highly collaborative and cross-functional, requiring regular communication with customers and stakeholders across the organization. The role will manage day to day needs of compensation vendor and survey providers relationships and perform market research and competitive analysis to ensure that client builds an attractive, competitive compensations package globally to support the attraction and retention of our high-performance culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Play a key role in design, development, analysis, implementation and administration of remuneration programs globally with a focus on competitive programming and compliance for hourly wages, base salary, allowances, recognition rewards, sales incentive, equity, and other long- and short-term incentives.
· Contribute to the development of the global compensation and rewards strategy.
· Successfully lead global programs with relevant experience in program management, data analysis, change management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and measurement of program effectiveness.
· Manage global compensation plans and associated provider relationships and oversee the survey and relationship renewal cycle and survey system enhancements.
· Ensure country compensation compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; providing expertise related to the regulatory and legal requirements for employee base compensation, allowances and incentive plans.
· Manage compensation administration and billing for all plans globally. This includes obtaining and reconciling invoices, creating finance report requests, and submitting and tracking payments.
· Lead new compensation initiatives and manage the implementation processes in partnership with the TR team, HR, People Information Systems and Payroll colleagues and the business. Under the direction of the Director, Total Rewards, lead compensation related work involved and implementation of new country set ups, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
Required Qualifications:
· Significant experience required in a similar role; minimum expected 8 years post bachelor’s degree.
· Previous experience working in a globally matrixed organization.
· Strong vendor management skills with the ability to deeply understand the survey platform and analytics offered, setting of service level agreements and challenging non-compliance.
· Experience managing projects including preparing project plans, timelines and building business cases.
· Able to build strong working relationships with teams and key stakeholders on an international basis.
· Previous experience of M&A activity / compensation program harmonization.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Facility/experience with a breadth of software/compensation administration systems.
· Compensations or Rewards Remuneration professional certification or master’s degree in business, tax, Human Resources or a related field.
· Workday experience preferred; Salesforce experience a plus.
· Experience/background with benefits and/or global mobility a plus.
