Savage Services is currently hiring for a Compensation Analyst at our Midvale, Utah Service Center. The Compensation Analyst administers key components of the organization's employee wage and bonus programs and manages compensated-related plans and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate company jobs to establish market-competitive pay rates, utilizing compensation surveys and software to benchmark Company data against the markets.
- References Company information to create internal equity pay analysis.
- Creates and distributes reporting related to compensation and wage analysis.
- Creates, maintains, and audits the accuracy of job descriptions; collaborates with Talent Acquisition, SH&E, and hiring leadership to ensure descriptions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensures compensation-related activities comply with applicable policies, regulations, and standards.
- Assists with system configuration and testing for the annual merit and bonus cycle.
- Responsibilities are not all-inclusive and may change based on the business needs of the Company
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
- 5+ years of compensation and wage strategy and planning in a multistate workforce required; global experience preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of compensation concepts and principles and related laws and regulations; experience with executive and sales compensation a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and statistical knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Must have or be able to obtain a passport and TWIC
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred; SHRM and/or HRCI Certification a plus
- Multilingual in Spanish or French a plus
