We are seeking a Corporate Communications, Platforms Specialist to join our client’s team in Atlanta, Georgia, focusing on high-quality aerospace solutions.
Position Summary:
Our client’s team team is looking for a Platforms Operations Specialist skilled in Microsoft products, particularly Modern Sites technology. This role involves managing intranet site presentations and governance, supporting updates, and ensuring seamless integration of content across platforms. This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and reports to the Senior Manager of Communications Platforms.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate across departments to gather requirements and objectives for migrating sites to Modern Sites technology.
- Provide expert recommendations for optimal content presentation.
- Create and update web pages based on shared content and specific requirements.
- Assist Site Owners and authors with troubleshooting, web part additions, layout arrangements, and content updates in accordance with governance standards.
- Work closely with IT partners and team members to ensure consistency across projects and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Participate in the testing of new or updated technologies related to the platform.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with SharePoint Online and 2 years with Modern Sites technology.
- Proficiency in HTML and a strong understanding of digital landscape and trends.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures, develop strong relationships, and challenge the status quo.
- Creative and innovative approach, with a focus on using data to enhance project outcomes.
- Capable of adjusting to changing priorities and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Inquisitive nature and a strong passion for continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Corporate Communications, Marketing, or Internal Communications.
- Proficiency in Adobe Analytics and Workfront.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Search optimization.
