Connecting Communities is currently seeking a telehealth Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to provide community based one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to youth and families within the Hampton Roads area. The RBT will provide direct services via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform to youth with a DSM-V diagnosis. Our RBT’s will provide the following tasks: Use of ABA intervention strategies with the individual serviced, Collect data about the individual’s behaviors through direct observation, Teach individuals the specific behavior skills outlined in treatment plans, Assist BCBA as directed with behavior redirection assessments and skill acquisition plans, Provide linkages to support positive treatment outcomes, nurture individuals social skills, and Communicate behavioral intervention results to the parents and caregivers.
Ideal candidate will also excel in experience with mental illness, time management, organizational skills, being a self-starter, data collection skills, writing skills, communication skills, with colleagues, parents, community partners, as well as knowledge and application of ABA techniques.
Ideal candidate will:
- Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid RBT credential
- Undergo a background check
- Abide by the RBT Ethics Code
- Have experience providing ABA Therapy via telehealth
