United Staff Group is dedicated to providing quality education to special needs children. We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team of professionals in Philadelphia, PA. We offer competitive compensation and a flexible payment schedule.
Duties:
Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior
Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment
Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred
Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to analyze behavior data
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
Please note that this position requires working directly with individuals with autism. Experience in special education or behavioral health is highly valued. Candidates must be comfortable implementing behavior management strategies and following individualized care plans.
