Job Description
Works with the CHL team to achieve the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the organization by providing technology, ecommerce, and web support. Provide support and backup services for technological systems, programs, and networks. Oversee the implementation, configuration, updating, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and components. Serve as an internal subject matter expert providing knowledge and advice related to specific technological products or issues. MUST LIVE IN VERMONT, NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEW YORK, MASSACHUSETTS
Responsibilities:
- Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
- Implement security measures
- Establish procedures to ensure the readiness, quality, and accuracy of websites
- Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements
- Provide support during online events including set-up, troubleshooting, question/chat moderator, and recording
- Offer technical support to staff and troubleshoot computer problems
- Provide user data on webpage/social media use
- Install and update company software and hardware as needed
- Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
- Test and optimize the functionality of systems, networks, and data;
- Define technical requirements for new initiatives.
- Must be able to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent, certificate or specialized training, and 5 years relevant work experience, BS/BA preferred
- Knowledge of PC and MAC computer hardware and software
- Full knowledge and utilization of Google workspace
- Knowledge of and experience with WordPress websites
- Knowledge of and experience with Moodle and/or CourseArc
- Knowledge of and experience with web analytics applications
- Experience with Monday.com a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team-based, collaborative environment
- Ability to learn, absorb and retain information
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Mission-driven work ethic and an understanding of the deadline-driven demands of a nonprofit work environment a must
- Ability to interact with people in a culturally sensitive manner
- Ability to work occasional off-hours duty to permit timely attention to mission-critical functions.
