We conduct risk assessments, coordinate compliance audits, use data to make decisions about our performance, and help staff improve results when indicated to ensure our approach is successful.The Quality & Program Specialist Position has the following responsibilities:* Analysis of complex federal standards and evaluating current work against them.* Maintaining scorecards and contributing to DVHA's performance accountability platform.* Monitoring alternative payment model (APM) financial and quality reporting requirements.* Supporting the annual performance measure and survey production cycle.* Coordinating improvement projects as assigned.* Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.* Managing and/or supporting workgroups.The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and be comfortable communicating clearly both orally and in writing.Moderate to advanced skills in Word and Excel and experience with continuous quality improvement concepts are preferred.Mission:The Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA)'s mission is to improve Vermonters' health and well-being by providing access to high-quality, cost-effective health care.
