Form of workThe Techno Functional Analyst will be responsible for the functional analysis, design, implementation, support, and testing of JD Edwards based solutions for a Global Manufacturing company. As the primary support person in this role,
You will be the primary point person for all things JD Edwards and integrations with supporting third party applications. Troubleshoot problems, recommend/design solutions, test, train users, implement, support. Assisting you will be a support team of contract consultants and developers. You will report to the IT Manager.
Essential Functions

- First level support for JDE application issues or questions
- Monitor TIDAL job automation tool used for JDE job scheduling and third-party integration
- Perform updates to JDE data via SQL or Microsoft Access to resolve issues.
- Monitor EDI interface for Sales and Purchase orders and troubleshoot any issues
- Create/Maintain ERP reports using ReportsNow
- Identify issues with other 3rd party tools (Transform forms, SmarterCommerce credit card processing) and coordinate resolution with support structure.
- Maintain JDE Versions and Menus via OMW toolset.
- First level support for application/data issues with RFGEN on plant floor
- Make recommendations and work on small projects to improve business processes
- Ensure quality of deliverables from the IT teams based on the requirements defined

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 5 + years’ experience supporting JD Edwards applications (9.0 and above)
- Familiar with JDE Sales, Transportation, Inventory and Purchase order Modules
- Solis experience in access management and data protection
- Report writing experience with ReportsNow, Insight, Oracle tools or another toolset
- Knowledge of JDE database, common tables, and relationships between them
- Knowledgeable in JDE setup of UDC tables, application constants, processing options, etc.
- Ability to prototype, test, walk thru business processes in test system
- Reports-Now report writer
- TIDAL job automation or similar tool (Robot).
- Familiar with SmarterCommerce credit card processing setup/support
- RFGEN administration/support
- Proficient at all varying third-party integrations & provide hands-on approach to resolving problems or coordinating solutions with 3rd party support
- Ability to multi-task in high-speed environment
- Ability to work nights/weekends

- 7+ years’ experience in supporting JD Edwards Applications
- Familiar with additional JDE Modules: PDM, EDI, Manufacturing, Case Management-Service-RMA, Finance
- AS/400/IBM iSeries experience with SQL tools, PDM, DDS, CL commands, etc.
- Bottomline Transform Forms Automation (designer tool and/or administration)
- Proficient at all varying third-party integrations & provide hands-on approach to resolving problems or coordinating solutions with 3rd party support
- Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
