Job Overview:

Quixote Studios is one of the nation’s premier film and Television studio and is in need of a focused and successful Technician to join the transportation and manufacturing team. All job duties are to be conducted in a safe manner and without comprising our values or exceptional service.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform pre-delivery inspections.
• Assemble RV structure, wall, and roof, fresh water/waste plumbing.
• Perform basic welding tasks.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain RV appliances, LPG system, A/C system.
• Install electrical wiring and balance electrical load and entertainment and satellite systems (Winegard, Motosat, Kingdone).
• Build, install, repair, and maintain cabinetry.
• Install, repair, and maintain braking and towing systems.
• Plan workload according to oral and written directions and complete assignments on or before the scheduled completion date.
• Maintain facility and shop equipment; Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all time.
• Process all paperwork regarding equipment damage and report to management.
• Proper disposal of hazardous waste materials.
• Follows and adheres to safety rules, regulations, and proper use of equipment that pertains to each job skill and qualification.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

• RV / Trailer Technician or other relevant experience
• Carpentry / Remodeling experience (preferred)
• Electrical Experience (preferred)
• Plumbing Experience (preferred)
• Mechanical Experience (preferred)
• Flexibility to support rental operation during non-business hours (i.e. holidays, weekends, and evenings as needed)
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to meet or exceed deadlines
• Experience, knowledge and skills of the methods, materials and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of various types of equipment and power-driven tools
• Working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade

• Heavy Work requires the ability to continually life, push, or pull at least 50+ pounds of product.

Work Environment:

Work performed in unheated and/or unconditioned warehouse. Employee may be exposed to cold, heat, damp, or humid conditions. Will work around machinery, such as forklifts, trailers, motor homes, pallet jacks, et cetera. Will be exposed to exhaust fumes and dust. Noise level in the work environment is often loud.

Compensation:

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements and this role’s Collective Bargaining Agreement, the pay rate this position is $27.00 per hour.
