Field Service Technician

Position Summary: Installation, maintenance and repair of machines which have been sold by clients company in North America locations and customers, which will entail working in a variety of facilities and weather conditions.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Understand and constantly improve knowledge of machines sold by MBF North America. Serve as a resource to the Sales and Parts Departments.
• Promote the Service Department, our product line and the company in general.
• Provide installation, maintenance and repair of machines and lines sold by MBF North America. This includes timely job reports to assure appropriate billing along with maintenance and repair history.
• Effective communication to customers with an eye towards

- optimizing customer satisfaction
- obtaining and reporting customer feedback
- maximizing a positive image of our company and its products in market

• Work with Parts and After Sales Service Manager to assure required parts are available.
• Work on internal projects at the direction of the After-Sales Service Manager.

• Travel within US and Internationally to serve Customers, for Training and Factory Acceptance Tests.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work in the US
• Ability to obtain a passport
• Understanding of production equipment found in a winery, distillery, or similar production operation
• Analytical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledgeable and confident in performing routine and preventative maintenance work
• Travel regularly within North America
• Regularly available for overtime
• Clean driving record
• Excellent written and communication skills (English)
• Proficient with PC applications (MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook) and Team Viewer
• Ability to manage travel arrangements

This is a Field Service position that requires 75% or more travel including:

• Daily driving to local customers
• Multi-day jobs
• Weekend jobs
• Multiple consecutive week assignments
• International travel for training

Physical Demands:

• Sit ergonomically correct; use hands to finger, handle or feel to talk or hear.
• Required to stand; walk on normal, uneven and slippery surfaces; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, bend or crawl.
• be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
