Technical Writer - Remote (Wfh)

Position Summary: Cognitive is seeking a Technical Writer who will be responsible for creating technical documents and manuals, explain complex information in a clear and concise manner and work with our development teams to ensure accuracy of product descriptions.

Duties:

• Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals
• Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts
• Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
• Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
• Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
• Draft and disseminate client-facing and internal meeting minutes
• Draft and edit monthly reports

Required Skills:

• Experience in documenting technical content, including JSON, APIs, software specifications, product release notes, and product user guides
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong attention to detail
• Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking

Required Education, Experience, and Clearance:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proven experience working in a technical writing position
• Ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust - Medium Background Investigation (MBI)

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting healthcare applications
