Description of Work:
- Ability to write and edit; design and develop graphic concepts; Microsoft products; Confluence; SharePoint
- Develop presentations, documentation and other written material as requested by the customer.
- Create graphic representations of information.
- Write, edit, and format technical content to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Collaborate with the customer to develop proposal documentation.
- Self-starter who can responsibly and independently advance work
- Work with SSA leadership at all levels and present relevant information
- All other duties as assigned or directed.
Basic Qualifications: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.
- 5 + years of experience developing technical narratives
- Bachelor's in Communications, English, Journalism or other related field
- Ability to write and edit in clear, concise, and compelling language.
- Ability to design and develop graphic concepts to illustrate and clarify subject matter.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft products.
- Strong ability to write and edit documents.
- Strong ability to use creative ideas to develop presentations.
- Experience working with Confluence and SharePoint
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
- Experience working in the federal government environment.

* Selected candidate must reside within two (2) hours of SSA Headquarters in Woodlawn, MD
* Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site at least 3 days a week..
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
