Description:
The Technical Project Manager for Network & VOIP Engineering will spearhead critical projects to enhance and secure the communication infrastructure of a globally deployed Department of Defense (DoD) organization, serving over 80,000 users. This pivotal role demands a fusion of technical prowess in Cisco network and VOIP solutions, strategic project management, and a deep commitment to national security. The successful candidate will navigate complex challenges, ensuring the delivery of state-of-the-art communication systems, while adhering to stringent security and compliance standards. This position offers the opportunity to impact the operational effectiveness of a key defense entity on a global scale.
Requirements:

• Security Clearance: Must possess an active Secret clearance or higher.
• Experience: Proven track record in managing network and VOIP projects, particularly within DoD or federal environments. Hands-on experience with Cisco solutions is mandatory.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Cisco network and VOIP solutions.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, IP telephony, and cybersecurity principles relevant to DoD operations.
• Ability to manage projects from conception through completion, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external partners.

Additional Qualities:

• Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and security compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example, with a focus on developing and mentoring team members.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.

Certifications:

• Cisco Certification: Highly preferred (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE).
• Project Management Professional (PMP): Preferred but not mandatory.
