Accountant

Accountant (San Juan, TX), Duties incl: Oversees the accounts payable dept; Prep accounts payable analysis reports for growers; Visit Mexican growers to estab product & packing specs; Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation & approval prior to payment; Keeps inventory of boxes or case sent to growers for packing; Gets in accordance w/growers for product & packing specs; Distributes signed checks or wire transfers as req'd; Acts as liaison betw corporate & grower accounts; Answer to all vendor questions & inquiries; Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets & corporate accounts payable files; Assists officers or managers as necessary; Stores accounting records for future use; Reconciles grower accounts; & performs other necessary duties as assigned. Trvl will be req'd to Mexico 3 to 4 times a yr to visit Mexican growers to estab product & packing specs. A Bach's deg or its foreign equiv + 60 mnts exp in job offered.
