JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver complex technical projects on time and within budget.
· Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and risk management strategies.
· Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including government officials, engineers, contractors, and the public, to ensure project alignment with strategic objectives and community needs.
· Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
· Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to track project milestones, budget expenditures, and performance metrics.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or related field.
· Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
· Experience managing technical projects in a government or public-sector environment, with a strong understanding of government regulations and compliance requirements.
· Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate teams and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
· Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, with a track record of successful project delivery.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
· Familiarity with transportation industry standards, technologies, and best practices is desirable
