Role Overview
Fisker Inc is looking for an experienced Charging Service professional to support, advise and partner with internal and external stakeholders. The individual in this role will be responsible for charging topics and are looking for a motivated professional who aspires toward further developing a career in the Charging and EV space. This position requires a proven record of accomplishment of successful project deliveries with an effective communication and organizational skillset. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment.
Under the guidance of the Manager of Charging Network, you will drive the roll-out of advanced charging solutions/features. While taking the competitor landscape and market specific requirements into account, the candidate will work closely with connected departments to ensure a best-in-class customer experience and service. This is a key role that will help Fisker deliver an innovative, immersive, and unrivalled experience to customers that is aligned with the company’s vision of “a clean future for all.”
Duties and Responsibilities
Function as Technical Project Owner towards our external development partner(s) as well as collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders (incl. engineering teams, IT, product management, UI/UX etc.) to ensure a successful implementation of a charging solution and/or features
Lead technical discussions with Fisker engineering and partner engineering staff members to enable public charging solutions
Design interoperability plan for charging features in close collaboration with engineering teams
Define and drive the Charging Service E2E testing by completing assessments on QA and Production issues and deriving the inference/ improvements
Define technical requirements for architectural design and drive the roll-out of next generation charging features (incl. Plug&Charge, V2X)
Arrange and monitor technical Service Level Agreement (SLAs) with partners and interfaces
Drive the knowledge transfer about charging solutions/features from providers to Fisker and work with the technical documentation team
Monitor the competitor landscape of digital public charging solutions and help identify Charging Service and business opportunities from a technical standpoint
Support broader EV and Charging strategies and projects as required
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent ideally with experience in project or product management or similar with relation to Electric Vehicles
Deep understanding of the relevant charging protocols to connect them to EVs and the corresponding backend system, including ISO15118
Experienced in IT project management or as a technical consultant
Entrepreneurial & proactive mindset as well as team player
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Well organized, strong attention to detail, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Prior success in rolling out complex customer-facing products and processes
Ability to manage multiple important projects simultaneously under deadline
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Office)
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience (min. 3 years) of working in the automotive and/or EV charging industry
Ideally at least 2 years EV charging experience including advanced knowledge of the charging landscape (incl. roles and responsibilities of Charge Point Operators, roaming platforms, Payment Service Provider (PSP), eMobility Service Provider (eMSPs etc.)
Solid knowledge of tools like Confluence, JIRA etc.
Experienced working in agile (software) to roll-out projects and environments

Expected Salary Range: $70,175 to $130,325 a year.
Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker’s equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
