Job description

The Manager, Data Solutions, is the single point of accountability for assigned sector DATA SOLUTIONS. The successful candidate works with our Supply Chain business and business technology partner(s) on data strategic and tactical initiatives, shaping and leading demand including but not limited to application development, application maintenance, networking, infrastructure, end user services, information security & risk management (ISRM), privacy and compliance.

This role will handle teams of technical specialists to deliver against the Supply Chain functions data strategic roadmaps and shared business outcomes. This individual will serve as an advocate within Technology Services for their respective business partners build, grow, extend and prioritize technology solutions that most efficiently and effectively achieve these goals.

To make decisions about further investment based on business needs.

Partner with and provide single point of accountability to Business Technology (BT) managers for products, capabilities and services aligned to Supply Chain specific data solution stream(s).

Help to establish technology roadmaps to achieve efficient & effective delivery of business & customer value for assigned value stream(s). Own demand shaping and demand intake commitment.

Ensure Technology Solutions work product meets stated business needs and achieves desired business outcomes.

Provide stable team support and point of escalation across all stages of the solution lifecycle to optimize value for assigned value stream(s).

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree required; in the field Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field preferred

5-10 years of Business Experience

At least 8 years' experience with leading and developing data solution projects, preferably in a highly regulated environment.

Experience building solutions with technologies such as S4 HANA, BW, BOBJ, Webi & A4O reports.

Extensive knowledge in leading and driving performance optimization on SAP solutions.

Experience with all aspects of the product development lifecycle as well as Agile methodology.

Ability to efficiently engage with a cross-section of colleagues at all levels of the organization.

Outstanding relationship and interpersonal skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.

Leadership capabilities as well as ability to effectively assimilate team. Ability to recognize and lead the resolution of project issues and roadblocks.

Ability to work independently and influence without formal authority as needed.

Experience and ability to lead projects aligned to a sector specific value stream.

Experience working with operations, infrastructure, call center and end user teams to achieve the goals of the sectors.

Some experience with customer relationships and prior experience in a customer-facing role.

Must be able to empower and encourage people and make tough decisions when necessary in a timely manner. Strong organizational/project management skills.

Preferred:

Experience working with external partners to bring products/services to market strongly desired.

Certifications in key processes and technologies in the value stream, including but not limited to Scaled Agile (SAFe, Nexus, Scrum), SAP Technologies.

Knowledge of Cloud Services and Products is a plus.

Experience with GxP platforms and SOX compliance

This position requires up to 10% travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $97,000 to $166,750.
