DAY-TO-DAY AS A TECH SCHOOL INSTRUCTOR - HVAC TECHNICIAN

This full-time teaching position in human services works during the day.

When working as a Tech School Instructor - HVAC Technician with our human services nonprofit, you are responsible for delivering engaging and effective classroom instruction in theory and hands-on curriculum. You use your exceptional communication skills to explain and demonstrate tasks to be performed while emphasizing safety protocols. You also prepare materials, locations, and supplies as needed to ensure each student receives the best possible training. In this teaching position, you also schedule and organize supplemental training sessions, supervise student work, and provide constructive evaluations to help each student reach their full potential. Using your instructional expertise you ensure that all tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A TECH SCHOOL INSTRUCTOR - HVAC TECHNICIAN

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in the trade
• Thorough understanding of the correct and safe operation of all manually operated and power-related tools and equipment
