Team Lead, Regulatory Reporting

Major Duties:

1. Has a secondary focus of supervising people while still doing work. The supervisor related work includes training new employees or those with lesser experience, reviewing work of others, and providing regular feedback and coaching to employees.
2. Organizes the work of the team, assigns tasks, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work

4. Review of monthly fund and business entity Regulatory Reporting.
5. Report and analyze regulatory data to be disseminated to our clients and regulators.
6. Interact with clients and other Hedge Fund Services teams to obtain understanding of funds’ activities.
7. Prepare regulatory reports for funds.
8. Assist in building a high-performance team through learning, development, mentoring and recruiting.
9. Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function.
10. As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level.
11. Conducts performance management and career development processes, and staffing and disciplinary actions.

Knowledge:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change
• Technical skills / systems knowledge is required
• Leadership and organizational skills are needed to prioritize assignments and provide feedback to staff.

Experience:

• A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred. 
• Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) is preferred.
