The Urogynecology division at Atrius Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Team Lead to join our division to support the Urogynecology practice at our Quincy and West Roxbury office sites.
- Provide direct patient care in a medical office setting.
- Clean, sterilize, and store instruments in accordance with guidelines.
- Prepare the room and equipment for office visits and procedures.
- Take vitals.
- Assist providers during examination, testing, and treatment of patients as needed.
- Performs patient education.
- Triage patient inquiries.
- Keep equipment operating by following the operating instructions.
- Maintain medical supplies by inventory stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Oversee clinic schedule for optimal efficiency and scheduling appointments when appropriate.
- Assist with administrative work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) is strongly preferred if the job is in a patient-facing clinical capacity. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
