Job Title: Principal Network Engineer – Team Lead

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Principal Network Engineer to serve as the cornerstone of our Network Engineering team. This pivotal role demands an exceptional understanding of network infrastructure and embodies passion and dedication. The ideal candidate will spearhead technical initiatives, guide a talented team of Network Engineers, and foster an environment of innovation, resilience, collaboration, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead for all networking projects, ensuring best practices, innovation, security, and quality are at the forefront of our initiatives.
- Provide expert-level guidance and mentorship to a team of Network Engineers, being the go-to authority for complex problem-solving and decision-making.
- Drive our global network infrastructure's design, implementation, and optimization to support organizational growth and security.
- Organize and maintain network infrastructure testing and high availability.
- Stay ahead of the curve with emerging technologies and methodologies, integrating them into our practices to enhance performance, security, and reliability.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a profound dedication to networking excellence through continuous learning, adaptation, and strategic foresight.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in a senior, lead, or Principal Network Engineering role, preferably with experience leading technical teams.
- Ability to technically motivate and inspire a team and communicate within and with other teams.
- Extensive knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN, QoS).
- Experience with BGP, OSPF, IPSec, IP SLA, TACACS, RADIUS, and multiple types of Spanning Tree is a must.
- Must have experience with multiple Cisco model switches, including access, distribution, and core layers. Experience with Arista switches is a benefit.
- Experience with Wireless, Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass, Palo Alto Networks, and SD-WAN is a bonus.
- Strong experience with network design and documentation, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization across diverse environments. Global infrastructure experience preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead under pressure and manage complex projects.
- Passionate about networking and technology, with a relentless drive to stay informed of the latest trends and best practices.
Education and Experience:
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Data Center or higher, and Arista ACE, are highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 15+ years related work experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and transfer up to 30 pounds.
- Domestic and Global travel required – up to 20%.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,200.00 - $153,500.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
